SERVING SUGGESTION
Ube Spanish bread tastes best when slightly warmed, either in the oven (5 minutes at 100°C) or in the microwave for 30 seconds. It’s lovely on its own with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, or lightly toasted for extra crispness on the outside, while keeping the ube filling soft and creamy.
STORAGE
Store ube Spanish bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze individually wrapped pieces for up to a month and thaw or warm before serving.
